Become a John Muir Geotourism Volunteer!!

 

As we continue to grow and have more to share with visitors and the community, JMGC is looking for amazing people to join us.  Opportunities to lend a hand abound.  Use your special skills, share information with visitors as a docent, join the annual festival committee, plan programs and workshops. We have a very supportive and active board of directors and exciting goals. The JMGC is creating history along the Historic John Muir Route and beyond. Join us for a journey of exploring, learning, sharing and preserving. Listed here are some of our needs and qualifications.

Social Media Guru:

Post JMGC events, activities, news items John Muir history and images to social media circles-including Pinterest, Flickr, and FB page; Set up Google+ presence.   Pay attention to Google Analytics to see what kind of traffic and from where the JMGC website it getting visits. Post videos to FB and Pinterest.

Website:

Volunteer once a month to insure all activities with photos and info have been added to site.

Center Volunteer:

Docents for the Center. If you know about John Muir, that is wonderful, if not, we will provide you with the knowledge you need.  The Center needs volunteers during the week. Flexible schedules.
